For the first time in its history they will be held on a Sunday and not on a Thursday so as to adapt to the city. The Academy Awards (popularly known as the Oscars) are presented annually by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) to recognize excellence of professionals in the film industry. The International Geneva Motor Show is an annual auto show held in March in the Swiss city of Geneva.
